The Chronicle of the Furious Roar (猛き咆哮の書, Takeki Hōkō no Sho) is a Chronicle, a critical item in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is the surviving record of a world consumed by the One King.
Information
The Chronicle of the Furious Roar is the surviving Chronicle of the original world of the Furious Roar. They had fought against the One King under the leadership of Cougar but found themselves defeated and their world lost to world fusion. It was the 9th world fusion to occur in the world of the hero.
Physically, it appears as a crimson jewel embedded in an animal skull, said to represent the severe temperament of the Furious Roar. To the Furious Roar, it is the Wraith Soul, the guardian spirit of their clan and traditionally enshrined in their Pillar of Spirits.
The world of the Furious Roar also had humans. A human city was said to have been located to the south of Cragbark in the previous world. Only one human, Chein, would survive the world fusion due to being on the Marsinah Plains when it occurred.
As a recent world fusion, Starbearers among the Furious Roar tended to have memories of their battle against the One King, though none of them, even Diulf, were able to approach the One King previously, due to not being Starbearers during their first conflict.
When the Chronicle, along with several others, was stolen once again by the Order of the One True Way, it would be used to trigger the 10th world fusion before being implanted into the Archivist Dirk.
Like other Chronicle implants, it would allow Dirk to transform him into a monster. However, Dirk would manage to maintain control until he used the power of the Chronicle of the Tatau Council to divert the 11th world fusion. Following Dirk's death, the Chronicle would be reclaimed by the hero.
