The Groundhog Rune (山ねずみの紋章, Yamanezumi no Monshō) is a rune which appears in Suikoden II.

Information

This rune was borne by Millie during the Dunan Unification War. The rune was named as such by Millie, but most are skeptical to her claim that Bonaparte is a common groundhog.

The rune encouraged her pet, Bonaparte, to fight and using it would have Bonaparte attack the enemy with its gargantuan maw, chewing the enemy up before spitting them out. The rune could only be used once per battle, however. When Bonaparte ran away from Millie, the rune was useless and unable to be used until he was recovered.
