Scarlet Slime (ハイドロゲル, Haidorogeru, Hydrogel) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
Scarlet Slimes are relatively weak and even easier to defeat once a player has access to fire or wind magic. However, they can be quite dangerous to low levelled parties due to their ability to physically attack the back row without penalty.
Information
This liquid monster had no fixed shape and was seen in Soniere Prison. It is said that it could change his shape at will and deafen intruders. It held a severe weakness to fire and wind magics.
Chinese Dishes, a difficult to obtain antique, could sometimes be found in its remains.
