Robot Soldier
機械兵 Kikaihei
Basic Information
Type
Normal

Robot Soldiers (機械兵, Kikaihei, Machine Soldier) are an enemy which appear in Suikoden.

Robot Soldiers have relatively high DEF stats for this point in the game, so they take longer to take down with physical attacks than most enemies. They are tied for the lowest MGC in the game so magic attacks (save for fire, which they have a resistance to) will be very effective against them.

Information

These trickster contraptions, each equipped with a sword or spear, were designed to guard Lepant's mansion in Kouan. They were not capable of complex behavior or thought and so would attempt to fight off any intruders incessantly.

Its strong armor was difficult to break through, thought it was weak to lightning magic. The spear-wielding soldier was also considered slightly stronger and more skilled than its sword-wielding counterpart.

It is unknown if Juppo or another trickster was responsible for these particular machines.
