Larvae (スペクト, Supekuto, Specter) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
These are the weakest and most numerous of the enemies encountered in Neclord's Castle. They should be a player's first target in battle to ensure their irritating little attacks don't whittle down HP as they battle the stronger enemies.
Information
These spirits of the dead haunted Neclord's Castle during the Gate Rune War. Floating eerily through the air, they would approach their targets while bobbing and swaying before stealing their life essence with a touch.
It resisted most forms of magic, but had a particular weakness to Holy spells. Some reports state that these creatures can leave behind fine antiques when vanquished.
