The V Jump Books Game Series Genso Suikoden (Vジャンプブックス[ゲームシリーズ]幻想水滸伝, Buijanpu Bukkusu [Gēmushirīzu] Gensōsuikoden) is a book published by Shueisha in 1996.
It is a tie-in guide book released by the Japanese shōnen magazine V Jump under their V Jump Books imprint. It is the first licensed Suikoden series publication.
The book serves as a mostly complete walkthrough of the first Suikoden game, with some late-game elements and recruits obfuscated (but not entirely omitted). The guide comes with a detachable double sized post, one side bearing a labeled map of the Scarlet Moon Empire and the other artwork by Kawano Junko of the hero, Gremio, and Viktor.
