The Tolna Canal (トルナ運河 Toruna Unga, Tolna Canal) is a river in the first Suikoden.
Information
The Tolna Canal is a canal dug from Lake Toran to the sea. The Floating Fortress of Shasarazade protects the north part of the canal. Magician's Island, where Leknaat lived, lies near the mouth of the canal.
Trivia
- Torna Canal is a location in the Square RPG Final Fantasy V. Its Japanese name is exactly the same as its Suikoden equivalent. The difference in English spelling is simply a localisation deviation.
- Tolna is both a town and county within Hungary. Its accepted Japanese translation is the same as this canal (トルナ). This is why this translation has not been changed from its original.
