The Hate Rune (ほむらの紋章, Homura no Monshō, Blaze Rune) is a rune which appears in the first Suikoden.
Information
The Hate Rune is a unique rune and is permanently equipped to Ronnie Bell. The Hate Rune gave Ronnie Bell the ability to attack with shockwaves from a distance. It was similar to the White Tiger Rune in many respects. The rune mark depicted a ball of flame such as the bearer of the rune could attack with.
Ronnie Bell seemed to try and refrain from using the rune as she found it unladylike but when confronted in combat, she made full use of its power. The rune ensured Ronnie Bell had no weak points, being able to attack both at long and short distances.

Trivia
- It's not just lore, Ronnie Bell can use the Hate Rune at any distance, and as it doesn't Unbalance the user, it allows Ronnie Bell to attack every turn no matter where she's placed in a formation.
