The Entry Permit (通行証, Tsūkōshō) is an event item in Suikoden II.

Information

Immediately after the Dunan Unification War began, such an entry pass was needed to enter Muse City as the city was on high alert for potential spies and saboteurs following the razing of Toto Village.

At the city gate, the number on the permit was checked against a list of citizens, and only after verifying the ages and number of people in a given group was permission granted to pass. When Nash Latkje infilitrated Muse, he did so with a forged permit supplied to him by his contacts in the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia.

The hero's group once tried to enter Muse using a permit that they received from Alex's family in exchange for their help investigating the Sindar Ruins at the White Deer Inn. But when they attempted to enter the city, it was discovered by the guard that the permit belonged to someone else, despite their best efforts, and they were detained.
