Books (ふるい本, Furui Hon) are a trade item in several games of the Suikoden series.
Information
These tradeable books, available in many places, contained various kinds of knowledge. As trade goods, handwritten and woodblock-printed books were generally quite expensive, selling for 3,500 potch in the Forest Village and up to 7,000 potch in Rockaxe.
Still, they were often purchased for the libraries established by both the Toran Liberation and New Alliance Armies. Such books often contained information on history, political affairs, and so on.
