Magic Shield (マジックシールド, Majikkushīrudo) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
The Magic Shield ties for the highest CON stat in the entire game, including bosses, save for the unbeatable Neclord boss battle. Despite this, however, the Magic Shield is not an exceptionally difficult enemy. Avoid using fire spells on it and it should be defeated in a matter of turns.
Information
This shield-shaped monster was seen in the Dragon's Den. As it looks like a shield, its defense is extremely high. It is said that it generated shockwaves in a wide area, stunning adventurers it came across.
This creature was also rumored to drop (or perhaps be) the Earth Shield, the best shield available in the Toran region during the Gate Rune War.
