Neclord (ネクロード, Nekurōdo) is an antagonist in Suikoden and Suikoden II. Neclord is a vampire with a penchant for taking victims as his brides.

Neclord is a runic vampire who is known for turning his victims into zombies. Neclord was transformed into a vampire through the use of a rune^[1]. In the past, Neclord joined Windy and Yuber in pursuit of the Soul Eater; Neclord aided them in the destruction of the Village of the Hidden Rune. Many years later, Neclord destroyed the village of North Window, turning the villagers there into zombies^[2]. Despite the horrific damage Neclord caused to North Window, he had little memory of these events^[3].

During the Gate Rune War, Neclord was appointed as the magistrate of Lorimar. There, Neclord changed the local Scarlet Moon Empire troops into zombies and skeletons. Neclord then began to threaten local villages with his zombies, demanding they send him women^[4].

Neclord travelled to Warriors' Village in order to take Tengaar as one of his brides. Though the villagers, as well as Tir McDohl and Viktor of the Toran Liberation Army, attempted to prevent Neclord from taking her, they were unable to do so. Tengaar agreed to go with Neclord in order to prevent further harm.

The warriors of the village, along with members of the Toran Liberation Army, headed for Neclord's castle. Zorak demanded Neclord return his daughter, but Neclord refused; however, recognizing Tir McDohl, Neclord invited Tir and his party to be his guests in order to capture Tir's rune and present it to Windy^[5].

Tir and his party raced to the top of Neclord's castle. Viktor attacked Neclord using the Star Dragon Sword. Neclord was unable to fight against the power of the Star Dragon Sword and Viktor cleaved Neclord, ostensibly killing the vampire.
