Basic Information

Boss

The Giant Tree (巨大樹, Kyodai-ju) is an event boss enemy that appears in Suikoden IV. It is accompanied by two Seeds of Light, which it will periodically replenish if they are defeated. It is the final boss of the game.

Information

The final weapon of the "Merchant of Death", Graham Cray, this monstrosity was located at the top of El-Eal Fortress. Its daunting appearance was that of a giant dragon with two large trees growing from its back.

It used a vast variety of attacks in battle, based on the five elements. There was a noted connection between the color of its leaves and the attack method it would use. Its most powerful attack was a ray of light called God's Grace, that could destroy almost any opponent in one blow, no matter their strength.

The abilities of this Giant Tree were reported to have been used for powering the Magnus Rune Cannon mounted at El-Eal Fortress. Upon its defeat, the Giant Tree's ammunition began to explode, eventually destroying the fortress completely as the Allied Forces rushed to evacuate the area.
