The Worm (ワーム, Wāmu) is a boss enemy which appears in Suikoden II.

Information

This creature is the larvae of a huge mother monster called the Poison Moth. As such, it is weak in comparison to the Poison Moth but still holds great magic resistance and life force in its own right.

It was believed that because it had little magical ability that it was not very intelligent, but it was able to use lightning magic in battle. It also used its bulk to roll into its foes, hurting them in the process.

It was encountered by the New Alliance Army twice during the Dunan Unification War. The second time was while rescuing Ko in the Banner Pass. The Worm would transform into the Poison Moth after a short time in that encounter.
