Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken (Suikoden I&II HD Remaster)
Fried Chicken (からあげ, Karaage) is a recipe in Suikoden II. It is Recipe #15 in the game. In the 1999 English localization of Suikoden II, it was called the Fried Fish Balls recipe.
Information
This karaage dish is made by deep frying chicken or fish without batter. If prepared by a skilled chef such as Hai Yo, the diner will enjoy a crispy outside and juicy inside.
The Fiery Fried Chicken is so spicy that if it is used during a battle, it will somehow cast the Dancing Flames spell. Unsurprisingly, it is not recommended for those who do not enjoy spicy foods.

Trivia
- Karaage is a Japanese cooking technique in which various foods, usually chicken or fish, are deep fried in oil. Suikoden II only uses fish as an ingredient, leading to some slightly confused localization.
