Tengaar and Hix eventually travelled to the City-State of Jowston in order to undergo the Test of the Unicorn in Kobold Village. Tengaar has something of a headstrong but loyal personality. Once her mind was made up, even her father Zorak found it impossible to stop her. Tengaar was considered by Hix to be a nice girl, even too nice.

Though prone to ordering Hix around, she never left his side. She frequently worried about Hix's progress as a warrior and did everything she could for Hix's sake. Despite her pushiness, the two were said to be a well-balanced couple. Tengaar frequently made decisions for the less decisive Hix. Tengaar also made long-term plans for the couple, planning on marrying Hix when they returned to Warrior's Village.
