Haruna was a young girl from Rockland, around 6 or 7 years old, who was supposed to guide McDohl and his group to Mt. Seifu on their mission to capture the bandits there.

As the populace were being oppressed by Grady's taxes and were being assisted by the bandits, Haruna distrusted the Imperial Guard. As such, she would cooperate with Varkas to lure the party into a ant's nest trap.

After the Toran Liberation Army established their base at Toran Castle, she moved there with her parents.
