Wilder (ワイルダー, Wairudā) is a character who appears in supplemental materials concerning Suikoden. He is the first recorded vampire killer in history.
History
Wilder is the name of a local lord and knight said to be from the Nameless Lands, far to the north of the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia.
According a book found by the New State Army, it describes Wilder as a person who managed to exterminate a vampire some 300 years ago. Incidentally, the story recorded in this book is also the first historical mention of a vampire. It is unknown if the figure is real or legendary.
