Roy (ロイ, Roi) is a minor character who appears in Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 2.

History

Roy was a young boy, no more than five or six years old, living in South Window City, whose mother, Aesia, was kidnapped by Neclord. Hearing a rumor that his mother had been taken to the Banner Forest, Roy made his way there with the swordsman Foryn.

Together, Roy would encounter Viktor and the Celestial Sword in Banner Village. Having heard the rumors of the bear-like man who defeated Neclord in the Scarlet Moon Empire, the child would try to steal the sword to rescue her. Foryn would intervene and the group would make camp.

Coming across his mother in the night, Roy would eagerly try to rejoin her, not realizing she had been turned into a vampire. Not understanding the situation, he was shocked to see Foryn and Viktor attack her and was extremely saddened once he realized she had been killed.

Afterwards, Viktor and Foryn would bring Roy back to South Window City.
