The Lude Woods (ルードの森, Rūdo no Mori) are a location mentioned in Suikoden II.
Information
The Lude Woods were located on the outskirts of Kyaro Town in the Highland Kingdom. When they were young, the 8-year old hero and the 9-year old Jowy Atreides once visited these woods to collect mushrooms and got lost.
When his friend suffered a sprain on a rocky riverbank, Jowy went down the river to call for help. Genkaku eventually found the crying Jowy and they returned for the hero, Genkaku carrying him home on his back.
Years later, during the Dunan Unification War, Nanami would reminisce about this little adventure while awaiting for Jowy's return to Muse City from his mission infiltrating the Highland garrison.
