Yuber (ユーバー, Yūbā) is a recurring antagonist who appears in Suikoden, Suikoden II and Suikoden III. Known as the Black Knight, Yuber has appeared in many conflicts throughout history.

Yuber has been a subordinate of Windy, at least since the time of her attack on the Village of the Hidden Rune where he was the one who set fire to the town[2]. He also stood guard to make sure no-one escaped the village[3] but was called away to chase down the Village Chief[4].
Yuber led the Imperial Army during the last battle[5]. He was confident of victory, dismissing the Toran Liberation Army's inferior numbers[6]. He also believed Leknaat could not defeat Windy's magic[7]. Even after the combined power of Leknaat and Joshua Levenheit eliminated their monster regiments, Yuber predicted victory[8]. Following his loss, however, he was dismissive of the result before disappearing[9], pursued by Pesmerga[10], who had been hunting him for some time[11].
Abilities
Yuber's power has been described as "terrible" and he has been called 'not human[12].' Yuber himself suggested it would be pointless to struggle against him[13]. Cleo made little attempt to counter this claim[14]. She also warned Victor to keep his distance from the being[15].
