The Pirate Brandeau (海賊ブランド, Kaizoku Burando) is an event boss enemy in Suikoden IV. He is fought alongside his underling, Assassin.
Information
Pirate Brandeau fights against you in this battle alongside the Assassin. In the party is the hero and a singular Knight of Gaien 1.
The optimal path is likely to use the Knight of Gaien's Wind Rune to attempt to put the enemy group to sleep. If Pirate Brandeau is put to sleep, you can then attack the Assassin with impunity. However, even should Pirate Brandeau not be affected (as his resistance is quite high) it is still best to focus on the Assassin first as he can be eliminated quickly, even if Brandeau runs healing.
Following the battle, Pirate Brandeau will engage the hero in a duel.
