Futch (フッチ, Fucchi) is a supporting character in Suikoden, Suikoden II, and Suikoden III. Futch is a Dragon Knight and the partner of Black and Bright.
Biography

Futch is a Dragon Knight who was partnered with the dragon Black. During the Gate Rune War, Futch and Black were hired to escort Tir McDohl and his party to Magician's Island.
Later, Futch was reunited with Tir and helped to wake the dragons of their sleeping sickness. Futch rushed off to gain a needed ingredient, the Black Dragon Orchid, from Gregminster Palace's Floating Garden.
Futch found the Black Dragon Orchid with the help of Emperor Barbarosa Rugner. As Futch was leaving, Windy used magic to send him and Black tumbling through the air. Black was killed but Futch survived, holding the black dragon orchid in his hands.

When Kent failed to return home, Futch took part in a search for him on Mt. Rakutei. After rescuing Kent, they found a dragon's egg. Though Futch was hesitant to claim the creature[5], he eventually christened the new pup Bright.
Futch and Humphrey joined the New State Army to repay Riou for his help in searching for Kent. After the war, Humphrey and Futch continued on their jouney to Crystal Valley[6].

Trivia
- Futch's weapons in Suikoden and Suikoden II, Verserk, Sigmund, and Sigurd are all names of Norse heroes, although Verserk is a poor translation of Vorsung. Vorsong was the father of Sigmund, who in turn was the father of Sigurd, the slayer of Fafnir.
