Treasure of the Fiori family in the Scarlet Moon Empire

The Seven Treasure Rising Dragon (七宝昇竜, Shippō Shōryū) is a sword shown in Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 4. It was a unique treasure of the Scarlet Moon Empire, belonging to the Fiori family.

Information

The Seven Treasure Rising Dragon was a unique priceless sword and treasure of the Fiori family. As gold and dragons were both strong symbols of the Emperor of the Scarlet Moon Empire, this type of dragon-emblazoned sword was only given to the most loyal subjects of the Emperor.

No other sword had as many jewels in the history of the empire. It has been initially awarded to Duma Fiori for his loyalty three generations passed and eventually came into the hands of Milan Fiori.

The surface of the scabbard, which has a slender and flexible curve, is decorated with a relief of a dragon soaring towards the hilt. The hilt also had a gentle curve that looks easy to grasp, and just like the scabbard, a gold dragon was carved into it.

In addition, the golden dragon was embedded with seven colored gems: red in its mouth, blue and white in its front legs, green, purple, yellow on its long body, and light on its tail. The number of gems indicated how highly esteemed the recipient was.

By the time of the Gate Rune War, the sword has come to the end of its life as a useful weapon, its blade being covered in red dust. Richmond used this to eliminate it as a potential attempted murder weapon.

Disgusted by his actions in the past, Milan had only brought the sword with him in the hopes that he could sell it for a vast amount of money in an attempt to repay the victims of his actions as an imperial soldier. The sword would instead serve to identify him as an imperial officer, earning the ire of both Dogu and Ril.
