Giovanni (ジョバンニ, Jobanni) is a supporting character in Suikoden. He is the loyal servant of Lepant.

Giovanni was the clerk of the Lepant family, dedicated to Lepant and his wife, Eileen. He may have been a shy person and sometimes prone to complaining but he was dedicated to Lepant and his work was always excellent.

During the Gate Rune War, when Eileen abducted by Kraze Miles, Giovanni attempted to stop him, but proved unsuccessful. However, he was able to inform Lepant quickly enough so that she was rescued before any harm came to her.

Following Eileen's rescue, Lepant joined the Toran Liberation Army. Giovanni joined with Lepant and Eileen, continuing to serve the couple faithfully. Giovanni showed a surprising talent in espionage, aiding the Liberation Army with his stealth in the Thieves unit.

Following the war, Giovanni was evaluated highly by Lepant. It seems this honoring inspired him to become an entrepreneur, starting a business of his own with Lepant's support.
