Hotupa (ホツバ, Hotsuba) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis who also cameos in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro. Hotupa is a Wanderer with a curious streak.
History
Hotupa is a Wanderer man who was a salesman alongside Moana in the same traveling caravan. When Marica? appeared, confusing acquaintances of the more familiar Marica, the curious Hotupa helped track her down in Flesaria Forest. When Citro Village was attacked by the Order of the One True Way, he and Moana chose to fight alongside the hero. Touching a Chronicle, he became a Starbearer.
He was skilled at handling Gateways and his knowledge of such made him invaluable to the Company at many points during their war with the Order. He would support the Company in many ways, traveling through the Infinity on several occasions, mostly notably to warn other worlds about the One King.
Even after the war against the Order was over, Hotupa continued serving in the Company as a liaison officer while also continuing as a merchant, enjoying himself all the while.
