Clad (クラド, Kurado) is a minor character in Genso Suikogaiden Vol.2. He is the head of Milit Village, a small location Nash travels to at the beginning of the game.

History

Clad is the Mayor of Milit Village, located in the Grassland. During the Dunan Unification War, the village was looted for potch, food and valuables by soldiers claiming to be from the New State Army and since then he has not trusted the New State Army nor the Dunan Republic it established.

Although he led the village, Clad's talents could be unreliable and he was often overly conservative as mayor, which led to him endangering the village such as when Clant's bandits pillaging under the banner of the Fire Bringer came to the village and he attempted to placate them without the aid of the various former New State officers who attempted to defend the village.

He would eventually realise his mistake and the village would be saved by several people, including Nash Latkje, Miklotov, Camus, Gilbert, Gijimu, Lo Wen, Koyu, Rina, Eilie, and Bolgan.
