The Chronicle of the Shining Legacy (輝ける遺志の書, Kagayakeru Ishi no Sho) is a Chronicle, a critical item in Suikoden Tierkreis, that is also referenced in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro. It is the surviving record of a world consumed by the One King.
Information
The Chronicle of the Shining Legacy was discovered in the ruins of Flesaria Forest, once the forest and its ruins appeared as the 8th world fusion. The Chronicle itself appears in the form of a vermilion tome, with four moons on its cover, each in a different phase.
The world the Chronicle came from had fought against the One King, gathering the 108 Stars in the process. The record of four warriors who fought to the very end without giving up were memorized within the Chronicle. It is that will to survive that survived beyond the disappearance of their world.
Atrie had apparently visited this world prior to its world fusion, becoming friends with its Nameless Hero. Following its world fusion, taking the same Gateway would lead Atrie to meet a new hero, who reminded him of his friend of old. Atrie would eventually come to believe that his new friend was the son of the Nameless Hero he once knew, making him a native of the Shining Legacy's world.
