Guardian Knights

The Guardian Knights (守護騎士団, Shugo Kishidan) is an organization in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro.

Information

The Guardian Knights were a much-celebrated, elite fighting force of the Leonos Kingdom. It was traditionally divided into two branches.

One was the "Sword" branch, which focused on offense. The "Shield" branch, meanwhile, focused on defense. The commander of the Guardian Knights was Sagan, who led the Swords. His wife, Vertier, was his adjutant, and led the Shields. Their daughter, Rio, was also a knight.

The Guardian Knights formed a key part of the 30,000-strong army assembled by King Dyrus to attack the Order. The majority of the force, including their commanders, would be killed when the Order would use world fusion to wipe out the advancing force.

Still, the Guardian Knights continued to exist as a smaller, but still key, force in the rewritten Leonos Kingdom post-world fusion.
