Sanady (サナディ, Sanadi) is a former nation located on the northern continent. It is mentioned in Suikoden III.
Information
Sanady was the homeland of Queen and was invaded in her youth as someone there had apparently inherited one of the 27 True Runes there, prompting an immediate Harmonian invasion to obtain the rune. What type of True Rune Sanady supposedly had and whether it was obtained by Harmonia or not is shrouded in mystery but in the end, Sanady was conquered and annexed.
Some speculate that Sanady may be an abbreviation of Sanadia, the similarly annexed homeland of Zaj Quiroz, but this cannot be confirmed because so many different nations have borne the brunt of Harmonian aggression.
