The Night Rune (夜の紋章, Yoru no Monshou) is one of the 27 True Runes. It is currently in the form of the Star Dragon Sword.

Suikoden

The Star Dragon Sword stated that he was the Night Rune itself, but transformed. The Night Rune is said to have the power of the darkness of night, as well as the ability to see through the darkness in people's hearts.

The Night Rune has strong influence over the Moon Rune. It is said that it hide its power as the Star Dragon Sword in order to defeat the vampires that the Moon Rune created.
