Currents ~op.theme~

Currents is a song from Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1. It is the opening theme for the game, played over the opening movie and can be considered the theme for Nash Latkje and the Suikogaiden duology as a whole.

Information

Currents first appears in Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1 as the game's opening theme, sung by Ikuko and released on the Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1 Harmonia no Kenshi Original Soundtrack. The song was arranged on the Genso Suikoden II Music Collection ~Orrizonte~ CD, sung by KOKIA. Meanwhile, Sizzle Ohtaka provided the vocals for the arrangement featured on Genso Suikoden Music Collection ~Celtic Collection 3~.

The song also received an additional vocal rendition in the 2003 album Genso Suikoden Vocal Collection ~Distant Star: Echoes Of Love~, sung in English by Imai Yuko. The Genso Suikoden Piano Collection ~Avertunerio Antes Lance Mao~ featured a rare non-vocal arrangement of the song.
