The Southern Highway (南方街道, Nanpō Kaidō) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is an intersection connecting the locations of Achlites, Port Town Nabarre, and the Holy City of Thaksis.
Information
This major intersection, located in inner Ionia, was used to travel between Achlites in the east, Port Town Nabarre in the west, and the Holy City of Thaksis to the north.
In HIY 300, the hero's Company would be confronted by the Order of the Gilded Leaf here as they made their way to Port Town Nabarre. Locked in a stalemate, the Company would be able to proceed only after the intervention of Jagwan's scalehorde troops.
In HIY 200, Wan and Irin would pass through the Southern Highway on their travels. There, they would meet the Company's Starbearers and pass down their respective skills. In HIY 100, Numa and Moslomas Liuis would pass through the highway on their way to battle the Teras Pharma. Numa would lose Moslomas' prized bow during a skirmish there and returned to the area to search for it.
