音の紋章 Oto no Monshō
The Sound Rune (音の紋章, Oto no Monshō) is a rune that appears in the first Suikoden and is referenced in Suikoden II and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1. It is used by the characters Melodye and Connell.
Information
The Sound Rune is a highly rare rune that only the acoustician Connell is currently known to be in possession of, although Melodye was known to have one in the past, gifted to her by the leader of the Toran Liberation Army who found it in Kalekka.
As the name suggests, it gives its bearer the ability to freely manipulate sounds. It seems like the rune can also be used for offensive purposes but the details surrounding that are unclear.
