Jewel (ジュエル, Jueru) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Jewel is a Gaien Marine Knight trainee and close friend of the hero.

Biography

Jewel was originally from Na-Nal although she would come to Razril after a disagreement with the Na-Nal Island Chief and train to become a Gaien Marine Knight. She would develop a friendship with the hero during this time. She was a cheerful, attractive and precise person whose patience allowed her to work past difficult times, often setting the mood amongst her comrades.
She had developed a crush on Snowe Vingerhut and was troubled by his decisions throughout the Island Liberation War. She had always believed in the innocence of the hero and she fought alongside him as part of the naval resistance against the Kooluk Empire following his banishment.
Following the war, she went back to Razril for a time but eventually returned home to Na-Nal Island.
Later, she was asked by Lino En Kuldes to help Kyril in his mission to destroy the Rune Cannons. Together with Paula and Selma she came to the Small Border Village to help him in his battle. She also met her old comrades from the Academy again and was particularly impressed how Keneth has developed. She promised that she would come and pay Razril a visit after the Rune Cannons were destroyed.
