Galleon (ガレオン, Gareon) is a supporting character in Suikoden V. Galleon is a veteran member of Falena's Queen's Knights.
Biography
Galleon served as the oldest, most experienced member of the Queen's Knights. A veteran warrior of considerable ability, he fought alongside Ferid on the front lines during the New Armes invasion. His honest, scrupulous attitude made him the perfect example of a Queen's Knight, although he could be very rigid in his duties.
He had met Silva during the Armes invasion when she was serving as a military doctor and the two eventually married. However, the marriage would not last due to their respective personalities. After the destruction of Lordlake by Queen Arshtat, he would try and remain impassive and loyal but felt great guilt about not saving Lord Rovere.
When the Sun Palace was attacked by the House of Godwin, Galleon fought alongside Ferid and Georg in protecting Queen Arshtat but was unable to prevent either Ferid or Arshtat's death. When Princess Lymsleia was captured, he would remain part of the Godwin regime's Queen's Knights along with Miakis in order to protect her. However, once Gizel Godwin assumed command of the Queen's Knights and the Godwin forces clashed with the Imperial City Recapture Army, he would jump sides and fight under the Prince's banner.
When he joined the Prince's forces, he would reveal the truth of what happened to Ferid and Arshtat to Miakis and Kyle. It would be Silva who would persuade Galleon to remain with the Recapture Army. For the remainder of the war, he would fight on the front lines, pike in hand, protecting his colleagues as a human shield on the battlefield.
Once the Sun Rune War ended, he retired from the Queen's Knights despite support before returning to Lordlake where he tutors the youth there.
