Two River Principality (トウーリバー市国, Toūribā Shikuni, Two River City State) is a region in Suikoden II. It is a constituent city-state of the City-States of Jowston.
Overview
Two River Principality lies to the west of Lake Dunan. To the north lies Greenhill Principality and in the south-east lies South Window Principality. To the distant south-west lies the isolated Tinto Principality.
Two River once formed the western lands of the Dunan Monarchy. However, the decline of that monarchy would see a bicameral parliament established in Two River City in SY 212.
In 314, Two River Principality would become one of the founding members of the City-States of Jowston. As a western territory, it tended to be less worried about invasion from the eastern Highland Kingdom.
During the 460 Dunan Unification War, Two River would be attacked by Highland but would manage to repel the attempt with the aid of the New State Army. Two River would align itself with the force for the rest of the conflict.
Following the war, the principality would join the new Dunan Republic.
