Xebec (シャバック, Shabakku) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Xebec is the youngest of the three Dromon pirates.

History

Xebec was a member of his older brother, Dromon's, pirate band. They held a pirate base on Kealohilani Island, in the northern Lonomakua islands.

He was an educated tactician, who served as chief of staff for the band. Dromon, realizing the importance of education, had enrolled Xebec at a prestigious school in the Lonomakua Chiefdom. Xebec graduated from the academy with excellent grades, second only to his fellow alumni, Hina.

When Kealohilani disappeared with the emergence of the 9th world, the group moved to the Coastal Cave, having no hideout of their own. When it was revealed why they had no memories of having a hideout, a pretty fundamental part of their pirating life, Xebec and his siblings struggled to accept the truth and the offer of alliance from the Company. He would eventually relent after his band was defeated in combat.

Following the war, Xebec turned down an invitation from Hina to work at the Lonomakua ministry office, and he remained a pirate alongside his siblings.

Trivia

  • Xebec is named after the xebec, a Mediterranean sailing ship that was used mostly for trading in the 18th century.
