Basic Information
Type
Plain

The Melisma Prairie (メリスマ平原, Merisuma Heigen) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a plain located in the northern provinces claimed by the Holy Empire of Ionia.

Information

Located to the immediate south of Fairpeak, this plain led to Sidas Forest and the featherfolk town of Gugleion within.

In HIY 300, the hero's group attempted to pass through the prairie only to be attacked by the flying Teras Pharma rampaging there. Taking shelter inside Utze's cabin there, they would learn of the prohibited documents at West Mt. Hioni and help escort the malicite crafter out of the area.

In HIY 100, the ring maker Neisa had a cabin in the southern part of the prairie where she conducted her research. By HIY 200 the cabin was instead inhabited by the scalehorde armorer Dagzuma. Though unable to meet Neisa at the time, her notes would remain by Dagzuma's time thanks to the Company's ring maker Starbearers.
