Meta Information
Appearances
The Ashtwal Mountains (アストラル山脈, Asutoraru Sanmyaku) are a location in Suikoden V. They are a mountain range in far northern Falena.
Information
The Ashtwal Mountains lie to the far north of the Queendom of Falena, beyond even the holy land of Lunas. Incredibly frigid, these frozen mountains form the source of the Feitas River that runs throughout the country.
Within the mountains lay the Founder's Site, a glacial area containing lost Sindar ruins. Following the defeat of the Godwin Faction during the Sun Rune War, Marscal Godwin threatened to use the Sun Rune to melt the glaciers of the Ashtwal Mountains, causing the Feitas to flood and devastate Falena.
Trivia
- In international releases of Suikoden V, the Ashtwal Mountains moniker is used for all Founder's Site locations and labels. In the original Japanese version, the two are kept separate.
