Sergei (セルゲイ, Serugei) is a character in the original Suikoden game. He is an inventor who greatest triumph is probably his elevator.
Biography

Sergei is an inventor whose designs were often scorned by the authorities of the time. He found Hero (Suikoden) open to his ideas and so became an early member of the Toran Liberation Army. Sergei installed his invention, the elevator, at Toran Castle which proved to be a popular time saver for Liberation Army officials.
In combat, Sergei wielded his spanner. The spanner was his favourite work tool and was vital in his development of the elevator.
