Rolf Laug (ロルフ・フラグ, Rorufu Rarugu) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Rolf is a famed magician and strategist, known for his role in fighting the Teras Pharma 100 years ago.

Rolf Laug was a Schradt magician who fought alongside his childhood friend, Thorwad Albreck in the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. He was an extremely skilled magician, having studied under Berenique Nobilious in the Holy City of Thaksis. However, his intelligence also lent itself to strategy, and it is this combination of talents that would lead to him being lauded for generations to come.

More mature than Thorwad, Rolf tended to act with clarity, making plans and back-up plans alike to attempt to account for all scenarios. He would teach Myra his magic upon their meeting and would then introduce the Company to his uncle, Ingolf, who had made Rolf's magicite during the Teras Pharma conflict.

Like Thorwad, he aimed to be of help to Company but found each new revelation about the actions of the Vermilion Axe, the Yggdrasilian Throne, and the Teras Pharma more and more difficult to wrap his head around. That said, he also aided the Company in their own research, introducing them to Nelvan and also looking into the 108 Stars through his contacts within the Yggdrasilian Throne itself.

Repelling an Ionian attack that the Company warned them about, Rolf and his comrades would go to investigate the Yggdrasilian Palace and discover the truth of Renefarious' designs. There, they would fight and defeat the Teras Fe Tys, weakening it enough for the heroes of the future to strike the Holy Emperor Renefarious down for good.

Following the fall of the barrier, he left with Thorwad's eastern migrants, continuing to serve at Thorwad's right hand as his strategist. In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality were not broken, he worked with Thorwad to suppress the Yggdrasilian Throne while hoping to protect Schradt from being razed in 50 years.
