The Matilda Knights (マチルダ騎士団, Machiruda Kishidan) are a military order that appears in Suikoden II.
Information
The Matilda Knights, based at Rockaxe Castle, is a unique force, proud of its strength and forming part of the elite in the City-State of Jowston.
The knights are split into three divisions; the Red, Blue and White Knights. These orders also represent a pyramidal hierarchy with the White Knights on top and the Red and Blue Knights on the bottom.
During the Dunan Unification War, the head of the knights, Gorudo, refused several times to fight in battles against the Highland Army, ultimately causing many knights to resign and fight with the New State Army. When Gorudo eventually allied with Highland, the order was fragmented further. Following the war, with the aid of Camus and Miklotov, however, the Matilda Knights were rebuilt.
Ranking
The Matilda Knights are comprised of eight different ranks, from squire to knight leader. Gorudo was the knight leader while Camus and Miklotov were both knight captains.
