Kai (カイ, Kai) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Kai is a master stickfighter who trained Hero (Suikoden) in the use of his staff.
Biography

Kai was the hero's former bo staff instructor, living in the household of Teo McDohl. One day he disappeared, only saying that he was going for a walk and never returning.
Years later, during the Gate Rune War, Kai encountered the hero again at the Fortress of Garan, where Kai wanted to journey west, but was prevented from doing so and offered his services and support to the Toran Liberation Army.
