Giovanni (ジョバンニ, Jobanni) is a supporting character in Suikoden. He is the loyal servant of Lepant.

Giovanni is the loyal servant of the Lepant family, dedicated to Lepant and his wife, Eileen. During the Gate Rune War, Giovanni refused to allow Tir McDohl and his party into Lepant's mansion[1] in Kouan, on the orders of his master.
When Eileen abducted by Kraze Miles, Giovanni attempted to stop him, but proved unsucessful[2]. He immediately alerted his master to the situation[3], and an enraged Lepant, aided by Tir McDohl, successfully rescued his wife. Following this event, Lepant joined the Toran Liberation Army. Giovanni joined with Lepant and Eileen, continuing to serve the couple faithfully. Giovanni also aided the army in espionage actions with his stealth.
Following the war, Giovanni continued to serve Lepant who became President of the newly-formed Toran Republic. He also became an entrepreneur, starting a business of his own[4].
Trivia
- Despite never being shown as being one, Giovanni is a subordinate in the Thieves unit during war battles.
