The Nameless Hero (名も無き英雄, Namonaki Eiyū), referred to simply as the Commander (団長, Danchō) in-game, is a major character in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro who also appears in Suikoden Tierkreis.

History

This Nameless Hero was superficially nearly identical to that of a different world. He was said to be roughly in his 30s during his war against the One King.

In the past, his child was involved in an accident similar to that of his counterparts. However, instead of going missing, the child perished. In despair, his wife would join the Order and would rise to become one of its leaders, on the top floor of the Order Pillar.

Meanwhile, the Nameless Hero would channel his despair into leading the Star Corps. Eventually, towards the end of the war with the Order, he would confront his wife and thinking she was the one using the True Chronicle to summon the One King, struck her down.

As the One King descended on his world, the Star Corps suffered a complete rout and power now lay with the Order. Seemingly out of options and gripped by his own despair, the Commander would learn of the rumor that sacrificing and combining the power of the 108 Stars was the only way to defeat the One King.

The technique was attempted, and the One King was defeated, but in turn the surviving Tenkai Star would merely become the One King instead. His consciousness as the Nameless Hero erased, he would absorb his world before appearing in the world of his counterpart, destroying it also.
