Gon was a friend and admirer of Kuromimi[1] who was invited to join the Toran Liberation Army after being visited by Kuromimi and Hero (Suikoden)[2]. He served in the kobold regiment of the Liberation Army, where he aspired to be as great a warrior as Kuromimi[3].
Following the Gate Rune War, Gon continued his training with the goal of becoming the number one kobold warrior[4].
