Kika (キカ, Kika) is a major character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Kika is the respected and honourable leader of a pirate band operating in the Island Nations.

Biography

Long ago, when the Rune of Punishment passed to Brandeau, he changed. What about you? Has anything changed with you? —  Kika

Kika was a famed pirate leader who operated out of her stronghold at the Nest of Pirates island. She captained the feared pirate vessel, The Grishend. Acknowledged as the premier pirate in the region by her contemporaries, she was known for only attacking ships belonging to greedy and unscrupulous merchants or nobles. As a leader, she inspired great loyalty, with Dario, Hervey and Sigurd serving her faithfully and looking after her welfare.

Kika was once close with Brandeau and was the lover of Edgar, the Pirate King, but following his death and Brandeau's inheriting of the Rune of Punishment, that bond dissolved. She was also acquainted with Lino En Kuldes and so when the Kingdom of Obel fell to the Kooluk Empire, she was willing to join forces to fight against their common enemy. She considered Cray Trading Company to be a hostile force and so they and her band were enemies even prior to the Island Liberation War.

With a similar fighting style to the leader of the Headquarters Ship, Kika fought in many battles of the war and was adept at boarding enemy vessels. Her work in introducing the leader to Elenor Silverberg would also play a huge part in the eventually success of the alliance in their struggles against the Kooluk.

Following the war, Kika would return to the Nest of Pirates, returning to her traditional business. It is said that she would meet her end on the high seas.
