Katarina served as the Vice-Commander of the Knights of Gaien under the command of Glen Cott. She was trained by Konrad in the use of magic. Commander Glen was, in truth, her father but this was something she never revealed, even to him. She was a strong, serious woman and an able officer but could also be said to lack flexibility. As such, she was taken in by Snowe's accusations and agreed to exile his friend for the murder of Commander Glen.
Following the Kooluk occupancy of Razril, Katarina would end up at the Pirate's Nest, wounded. Encountering her exiled charge once again, she finally believed in his innocence and, once recovered, join the Headquarters Ship crew and would reunite with Konrad. Following the Island Liberation War, Katarina would become the Commander of the new Razril Marine Knights, successor to the old Gaien order.
