Biography
|
Bright was a baby dragon who hatched on Mt. Rakutei during the Dunan Unification War. Futch, who had lost his dragon, Black, in the past agreed to raise him so he would not be destroyed. However, due to Bright's unique colouring and his extremely small size (dragons were usually several meters long at birth), it was unsure whether Bright was a real dragon.
Following the Dunan Unification War, Futch, Bright and Humphrey traveled towards Crystal Valley in an attempt to ascertain the truth about Bright. When a rogue black dragon attacked Marid Village, Bright tried to confront him. Some sort of resonance occurred between the two, opening a passage to the World of Wings and Scales. This incident seemed to confirm Bright's nature as a dragon.
By the time of the War of the Champions, Bright was Futch's matured and powerful dragon steed. Although large and fearsome in appearance, Bright remained fond of people and a pretty friendly personality. His size and speed made him a much feared opponent on the battlefield during the war.
He continued to be Futch's mount after the war, loving to soar in the skies. However, sometimes Futch is put out by his pestering.
